I really like to pick soraka into melee mids and/or super squishy slow low range mid champs that have dumpster level 1 like orianna, gragas, diana, etc. The squisher and shorter range, the better. You run in their face and starcall and if you get 3+ starcalls, they die. Watch replays.

She went CD Boots, Rylais, Abyssal. She may have gotten a mana item in between, I forgot.

**** build. Just those 3 items will mean you have 0 mana and 0 AP. I do take abyssal later on, but core immediate build is tear->spectral wraith->seraph's embrace->zhonyas

You need the shield and the zhonyas to stay alive in fights as you'll probably get focused. It makes you invincible to have like 1000 burst heal, stasis and a 500-750 shield.
