My AP stat is 1200 and when I move my cursor over an ability that scales with AP and look at the AP bonus it does, it says (+975) bonus ability power. Why is the bonus less then my stat for the bonus? I notice this with just about every champion that scales with AP and AD. The bonus AD and/or AP stat doesn't coincide with your AP/AD. AND sometimes for example i will have 900 AP and the bonus AP stat will say (+1100) bonus AP. Now that's confusing. WHAT does this MEAN!??!

Most of the skills doesn't scale 100% with your AP/AD buddy. :O This is normal. :3

Look up your champ on mobafire, and hover your mouse on the attacks that scale with ap/ad. Itll show you their exact scaling there (btw most moves scale with less than 100%ad or ap)

not sure if youre b8ing or literally this new.

anyways, abilities that scale with AP have different AP ratios (percentage of total ability power added to the damage). this differs with every hero. for example annie's Q (disintegrate) has a 70% ability power ratio meaning it will deal an additional 70% percent of her total AP on top of its base damage.

youre prolly trolling though; its hardly possible to have 1200 AP unless youre playing veigar or literally have five deathcaps, a mejais soulstealer, 19+ offense tree and full scaling AP runes.

I've seen a veigar with like 1300+ AP, it was a slaughter.
