he's fun imo but also just like the recent batch of champs riot's released and were intended to be ADs but just end up being really strong ranged lane bullies with weak scaling (quinn, draven, etc. although draven worked really well because his laning power was unreal and actually pairs well with supports but nerfed now and way weaker). he works best in a solo lane, preferably mid lane since his waveclear is good and his roam is ok after 6 (ult is weak when all-inning since you might as well auto but good to finish off fleeing enemies that are out of auto range) similar to quinn.
Lucian is a really good champion from what I have seen playing bot games whilst I learn him, he is definately OP in some ways so I am suspecting
a nerf on him soon but hopefully not too much :) I was playing as him earlier today and I got a decent 3-0-2 whilst soloing the top lane which I dont think is too bad considering it was 2 (and sometimes 3) on 1 against Bots that run away when they are below 35% health and I actually completed the lane turrets in under 16 minutes (all three turrets).
I can definately see Lucian becoming a reasonably popular AD champion in rank games soon

Fun...who cares...only question is whether a champion is good or not.
Actually wether a champion is Fun is very important in League of Legends, if you have fun playing a champion you are more likely to master them and get the most out of them than a champion you don't enjoy playing with.
Simple logic really

It depends on the player's drive. For some the strength of the champion pretty much equates to how enjoyable it is. Similarly, a weak champion can be rendered unfun to play if the player feels like they cannot pull they're weight as much as with another champion.
His ult seems really fun to use.

He seems like a fun champion and his skillset seems decent, but I've seen a lot of people complaining he is really underpowered.
Then again I also heard that a lot about Quinn but I loved her and actually do better with her than with some of the more "popular" ADC's (like Draven or Graves). I just find her a fun champion tu play despite the fact that she might not be among the "good ones".
