Nidalee isn't really blending well with the background. try duplicating the nidalee render and either do a Gaussian blur or smudge on the bottom render a little to give it the blur that can blend with the background. If you set the blurred layer to a different setting you can also give nidalee a nice glow. This is just my opinion, and I am still not at the level of Nameless :P

TIL not to connect all the layers after you are done. it makes it easier to drag and drop the whole thing, but you can't do anything with it :(

I usually don't merge layers at all except the way GIMP automatically does so when you make the document an image.
