Not really a league fact but at the highest level of play you recognize between 3-7 people in your ranked games, every game.
Also when you hit D1 you become eligible to be put into this giant free-agent/manager chat in Skype. Someone has to invite you in and introduce you. People shoot the **** and hang out, but its mostly for top amateur teams to recruit talent or for new teams to pick up a roster. Every day some manager for a decent team will post, 'blah blah blah team looking for Mid etc.' Its only for D1 players and its how managers put rosters together. The 5's community is much smaller than the solo que community so you end up bouncing around different teams all the time. It pays to be nice to everyone you play with, you don't want to get passed over by a team because their top doesn't like you.
