On topic though, I don't think the synergy with other knockup champions will demand their use in order to accommodate Yasuo. CertainlyT says the cooldown of his Q is very low and hitting Q's in short succession shouldnt be that difficult.

Personally i think it would be better if they had it like if you use his ult on a ground it does damage but if you can catch them in the air it does more damage

That would probably synergize with his kit well, but if they did that they'd have to take away his armor pen boost to accomadate, reducing its effectiveness against tanks after the initial burst.
Perrsonally, I prefer the way his ult is currently, (that being a difficult to hit attack that requires careful consideration beforehand, but is effective no matter the opponents defense) as opposed to an easy to land burst thats only effective vs squishies.
Of course, we'll have to wait and see how he does on pbe and such before can make any serious judgements :)

he seems kind of lame, his Q is narrower than corkis ult and at a lower range so itll be weird to hit, E sounds fun but useless in a 1v1 because you cant keep dashing to the same champion, ult is only usable if someone is knocked up so you have to set it up, and it only gives armor pen to bonus armor meaning hes supposed to be a tank shredder but his ult only works on knocked up targets and you have to get them knocked up first, youre also a melee adc so youre going to die pretty fast

From the looks of his kit, it's fairly obvious that he's designed not to splitpush, and to try and teamfight. His Q range is probably fairly low, and is quite narrow (moreso than Jarvan's Q iirc which really sucks), so his waveclear isn't the best. His W can't block tower shots so that's out. His E is best against multiple targets, and his ult is still fairly effective in duels, but much harder to pull off. Plus he can't crit towers so that's out too :c
