You can fear them and have enough channel time to jump ahead of them to Bountiful Harvest and finish off with E.

If you ult with Malz and WW you render yourself immobile and unable to cast other abilities without breaking its channel. If you ult with Kata, same thing. Shadow Dashing whilst channeling ult with Shen cancels his tp. W jump whilst in the middle of Q jump will cancel Q jump and vice versa.

I've played Fiddlesticks for 2 years, so I can definitely tell that your guide being a 'fantastic' way to progress through Leagues is an overstatement at best. 3 months is nothing.

Yes, Falseo is correct that some junglers (notably Nightblue, who is one of the strongest soloq junglers around) omit Spirit of the Spectral Wraith for a Zhonya's Hourglass rush, so it is indeed possible, however, you have no reason to laugh at building the item. It is the 3rd most built item on Fiddlesticks with a winrate of slightly higher than 60% (which, incidentally, is almost the same as Zhonya's Hourglass).

I think a few CDR glyphs are fine, since Fiddlesticks rarely builds proper CDR items other than Spirit of the Spectral Wraith.

This guide cannot take the place of any amount of high-level Play; if you play against Meteos or Faker or Faabbbyyy all the time, knowing what to do on the fly is more important. My guide has been put together using the months of s3 play I had, where I figured out that Fiddle has to snowball. Amongst all junglers (pre4.3) his kit was by far the easiest to snowball with. The numbers confirm it. CDR runes enable you to take advantage of your lvl 1-6or7 blue buffs the best. You could throw in some AP, but I think CDR on Fiddle harmonizes well with Zhonya's.

And trust me, if you are not at pt zero when you Terrify, they will run OOR to do anything to one once the effect ends. It's the only champ in the game I can think of that one ability cancels out another. Fiddle jungle is kaput. You can't Crowstorm Terrify and then run after your target while runs at you as well... Fiddle is a fire-n-forget champ; having mechanics enough to position yourself, E, Q, W then Zhonya's intime was Fiddle's whole deal.

Now, the game makes it so if you Terrify you can't use your other abilities properly, or sometimes even at all.

Actually, a lot of high elo (and even in competitive play, saw Meteos do this) do the single dorans and rush Zhonya if they're not miserably behind (if they are I do believe you can either ***** out and get spirit or man up and get a double doran's and still zhonya rush). However, this requires fiddle to go extremely aggressive in terms of ganks and requires a lot of team support - specially at high elo - to find him the space to ult without getting spotted, otherwise he's gonna be trash most game.

He is exceptional in the way that the squishyness and vulnerability during ult (mayhaps qualmed by the upcoming buff to W cast range) require a zhonya rush.

I do think the guide has many subpar options though: CDR runes feel pretty wrong on a blue buff rusher, all the focus on MPen will not always be ideal because you are REALLY counting on presence and excessive attempted ganks often result in no gold, and MPen isn't really an amazing stat in the jungle, Enchanted Armor is probably trash on fid (5% of bonus mres and armor on a full damage build? Meh. I mean, 2.5 armor from Zhonya is REALLY unimpressive, even if you have armor runes that's like 4 or 5 armor).

The jungle fiddle remark you added is a bit overly dramatic, if you gank them from behind you're guaranteeing they run towards your midlaner which is good. The Terrify changes are actually a buff because you can now rationally consider the movement effects of your Q.

Guide doesn't seem like a mass of League of Legends terror but I can't say coz it suffers from "Huge pile of text". Still, you're not selling Ohmwreckers so people could be less engaged as to say how wrong you are about whatever.

Although, I do agree that Doran's Ring start is fine and actually standard. However, you still need to get a Spirit item for gold generation, otherwise you fall behind in gold very quickly.
