Champions for ranked climb

I'm thinking maybe [[Lissandra]], [[Syndra]] or [[Diana]] for mid, maybe [[Cho'Gath]] or [[Pantheon]] top and [[Ashe]], [[Draven]] or [[Varus]] for adc. I am also considering [[Zac]] or [[Nautilus]] for top. What advices could you guys give me? I'm currently platinum V by the way.[/quote]

[list] [*] [[Diana]] mid is fine, does well against popular picks such as [[Fizz]], [[Gragas]] and [[Yasuo]]. [*] [[Syndra]]'s laning phase is pretty weak pre-six, actually pre-nine because her Q does nowhere near as much damage as other harass spells. On top of that she has zero mobility and is easily outplayed. Just Veigar with boobs. [*] [[Lissandra]] mid, while not popular, is really strong. Her wave clear is nearly unmatched and she actually does have roaming potential as a mage. Fuck [[Morgana]] tho. [*] Yup agree. Not only does Cho not have a place in the meta anymore, he's just too archaic to be good. [*] [[Pantheon]] needs to snowball but also excels at that. His weakest point is that he can snowball negatively as well and that his late-game is non-existent. [*] Agreed although he's kinda trashy in general. His top used to be good but his level two is so weak now. Not to forget his ghastly mana issues. [*] [[Zac]]'s feature is that he can face another tank and win lane. They both do well against everything but don't really counter anyone. [[Varus]] has insane trading potential from level three and on but his early levels are a bit weak. [[Lissandra]] is a control champion and not a duelist. Her burst damage lacks but makes up for that with huge dps and cc. Her ganks are game-breaking. [[Diana]] doesn't necessarily beat [[Gragas]] but she does perform really well against him by being mobile and tanky. [[Orianna]] has always been a good pick against [[Diana]], even in the "omg nerf diana pls" days. [[Syndra]] has the same problem [[Veigar]] has which is why she isn't played. First, they both really lack mobility which makes it not only tough to escape ganks but also you're really prone to being outplayed. A chunk of mid-laners ([[Fizz]], [[Zed]], [[Orianna]], etc.) can make really good use of that. Second, they are both one-trick-ponies; once they burst they're pretty non-existent. [[Syndra]] does have more dps than [[Veigar]] but her burst is also tougher to set up. These are some pretty major flaws that can't really be fixed atm which is why I wouldn't advise anyone to play her as good players will be able to abuse this.[/quote]
