Just Made Silver Again: AMA

The Year ago me (as well as 4 month ago me) was in a very bad spot, especially when it came to my career. This time around, I knew i could do it because I did it before, albeit during the preseason but I was Silver. Also year ago me didn't really try to learn the game as well as I do now. A lot of mistakes were pushed to other people and I didn't' really get that my deaths were my fault until someone (pretty sure it was you Lugi) posted [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ4vPCY11eM]this video[/url] sometime in the summer. I'm shooting for Gold for sure but I'm not sure where I want to go as far as lanes go. I want to try to ADC and Top lane as much as possible though since they are my weakest areas. As for Mains I will always have [[Katarina]] in my back pocket for Mid lane. She has always been there in my LoL career, being my Game 1 champ and all and she is the one that carried me to Silver in the Preseason. Otherwise I'm probably going to run [[Tristana]] and [[Jinx]] for my ADCs. I consider Trist to be my strongest ADC since I am prone to positioning errors and [[rocket jump]] can erase those. My other mains are [[nasus]], [[Shyvana]], [[Vi]], [[leona]], [[nidalee]], and [[thresh]]. So I'm also going to work on expanding my champion pool a bit this season too.[/quote]

Fell to Bronze II briefly but bounced back quickly. Not sure. I haven't been drinking in a while. At least 2 years. Back in my Xbox days I downed a ton of Rum n Pepsi while playing Big Team Battle. I mixed these to be stronger than normal (I think. I never bar crawled) but after 3 or 4 drinks, maybe 5-6 shots because I never measured anything, I would be shit faced. Not the best move since I was one of the warthog drivers in my circle of friends. But that didn't stop me from driving some gunners to Perfection Medals (15-0 at least). Drunk driving FTW. Not to mention this deep seated aversion I have towards female characters in general. Growing up among the fighting games I played, I preferred the females because I valued speed over power. Whether this was true or not in these fighters I don't know, but it never really left me.[/quote]

As I said before she was my game one champ and she's stuck ever since. I love the way you can be a bit reckless and run a quick dive and get back out before you take a couple tower hits. I used her to carry my to silver during the preseason as well. I just find that despite being melee in a range dominant lane she can trade better at level 3 than most other champs, either because it's the truth since Shunpo gives damage reduction, or because most low level players don't know how to deal with trading. Whatever the case in most of the Kat games I've played, I focus more on making good trades rather than CSing. If I can force my opponent out of lane I can farm and push the lane well enough with no pressure while making the opponent miss farm. Ultimately the best champion for climbing ELO is the one you are most comfortable with, whatever the reason maybe. That just happens to be Kat for me. So when it's crunch time come October I'll be spamming her for the best rating I can get. Till then ima work on my other roles.[/quote]
