if you are trying to do it manually, have fun(especially if you want to remove it later) :P
if you are doing it with nmm, then what is the problem?
edit: nexus>steam because it is far easier to check all your mods, they don't update automatically(might screw up your loadorder) and you have better accsess to your loadorder(the tool in the skyrim launcher doesn't show masters iirc)
