I'm going to just say it now, so it can't be considered an excuse: In NA, there are only two good teams (C9 and TSM). EU scene has at least 6 really good teams, considering Fnatic is 6th place right now. Even if Fnatic would lose, it wouldn't say that much about the difference between the two scenes.
^ That doesn't make any sense at all. Fnatic at their best wouldn't be sixth in EU, so it's not fair to state EU has six really good teams just based on the fact that they are underperforming in the LCS.
My money's on C9 for this semifinal, they are looking pretty strong right now.

Regardless of that, there are 5 teams right now that are better than Fnatic and the teams are a lot closer to each other than in NA, which definitely proves my point that NA only has 2 great teams that can match up to the rest of the world, whereas EU has 6.
Anyway, Gambit vs WE is a great game, WE had great rotations but Gambit is making a really good comeback.
EDIT: Holy **** that comeback. So well played.
...No, it doesn't prove your point. Fnatic playing like they did yesterday weren't able to match up to the rest of the world and were beaten pretty easily by iG, Fnatic playing like they did today obviously were.
They are good enough to match up with pretty much anyone, but only if they actually play well. The fact that they haven't done that consistently is why they are sixth in the EU LCS, you can't say EU has 6 teams that can compete at an international level based on that.
Anyway, this tournament isn't about how EU compares to NA, so I guess I'll leave it at that for now. Good comeback from Gambit just now, let's see if they can do better vs TPA this time.

I didn't watch the Gambit games but that was completely unexpected. Always thought GPL teams were at most like NA challenger level....
Nevertheless C9 is dominating! Completely unexpected.
It's too bad almost all the teams from each region are like tier 2 teams...
