Building a PC at a 650€ cap

Like for example the capacitors or chokes might be higher quality to withstand overclocking. I haven't verified any of this, but it seems feasible. Why wouldn't they? (I know they do) The biggest difference between the boards is probably the voltage regulation and a few extra features in favor of the Asus Z87-A. The quality of the components is also likely higher, but I'm too lazy to check properly. You'll have to choose. Is the voltage regulation (better overclocking and lower power consumption), extra features and quality worth the extra cost? Am I right in assuming you're going to overclock? You seem like a moderately hardware-interested person, so it shouldn't be hard at all. Pretty much all Asus (and most others) boards can do 4.2GHz just by tuning the multiplier and leaving the rest on auto. If you don't wanna overclock then you might as well go for a non-K CPU and a H87 board. Also, my bad, the intel NIC isn't in all Z87 boards. It's from the Asus Z87-Pro/Asus Maximus IV Hero version up(and other premium MBs from other manufacturers), which is definitely above your pricerange.[/quote]

The fans on the Silver Arrow are amazing; high airflow and low noise. The only problem is that it's hard to get a hold of. I really don't understand why it isn't more famous when it performs in a class of its own. Also note that I didn't recommend it to xIchi as it's most definitely out of his pricerange (just making that clear).[/quote]
