Platinum was the easiest for me as well, all you have to do is play consistently. Once you hit D5, let the tears begin.

Epic start to my promos.
Our Evelynn dies mid at 3 mins. She proceeds to flame our Syndra and when we tell her to be quiet and play (not even rudely), she stops talking, goes mid, pushes the lane and dives their Fizz alone 7 times in a row. We decided to let them push mid.
The worst part is that Syndra was doing very well in lane and Eve was flaming her for her death...
