Views: 1372 Champion pool advice, I switched to top lane

So some of you may know me from my 
Maokai guide (on the top list now friends), and I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment...
I've recently earned a spot with Funaga Gaming (a relatively new, multi-game organization), and as a result I've been switched to playing top lane. Right now I'm struggling to fill out my champion pool since 90% of the guys I used to play are derp at top, except Maokai, he's even better there than jungle. Right now all I play is Maokai, Irelia, and Renekton, and I need to add at least 2 more picks for a solid roster before my first tournament. I really don't like Gragas, I suck at Nidalee, and I feel really inconsistent on Aatrox even though I like him a lot.
I've been experimenting with a lot of APs but no one is really sticking for me. HALP MOBAFIREEEE!!!!

My only issue with nidalee is that i have no idea what to do with her once team fights start breaking out.
I understand that her main objective is to split push, but I feel like I need to have some kind of impact across the map when I take teleport.
HELP ME PINKS SENPAI
Lurk around the backline of the enemy team and try to land a spear on one of the carries, your full cougar form burst will make them back off.
If they come back to add damage or kite your team, just flash on to them and execute them.
Once you get the adc out of the picture, it will be easier for you to clean up the rest of their team.

She seems almost unstoppable against most top laners besides her hard counters like
I did a couple smurf games in Plat 1 -> Diamond 5 elo and I can say that she is a very strong top laner.
Also, I'm an ADC main so if I can pick up
Other tops that are decent imo: Wukong, Jayce, Fiora, Rumble, Riven, Olaf, Nasus, Shyvana, Mundo, Trundle, Shen
How is lulu after the nerfs Vyn? I was never very good at playing her beforehand so I'm a bit hesitant.
I used to play a lot of those last 3 champions but recently they haven't felt too strong. Kabyle gets beaten out by a lot of top laners now that her AP ratios aren't as strong as they were 3 patches ago. Rengar is just much better suited to the jungle right now because his ganks are so abusive. And I don't really think Jac is great right now. Aatrox does more or less everything he does, but with a lot less effort, on top of that, I think gnar is going to take some of the limelight away from both of them when he's released.
Lulu nerfs didn't do that much to her shes still really good top.
