Jungle karthus is horrid! 16 games with it and all I experienced was an inability to jungle (I had to back before 1st golem because no sustain), unable to gank before 6, and no power to kill camps effectively until laning phase was over. I had to swap half of your build to get any results.

Great guide! Learned a good amount. Esp about monsters not have MR.

Awesome guide, tried it in a 5v5 ranked team game and it went well. You're missing a mastery point for Karthus mid. 21-2-6 = 29/30.

Could you use a hex tech revolver on Jungle Karthus or would that be stupid?

I was really looking forward to reading this guide, personally I love jungle Karthus. But then you write this one sentence about the best stat ever on Karthus... something like Spellvamp sux on him. And you say his spells are AOE. I don't know where you got that from. His Q is both AOE and single-target and spellvamp will pump back his HP like lifesteal would on an AD carry. -1

Correct, and this is the case for most junglers, however is able to deal crazy damage to isolated targets with his , scaling 60% ap+ the 240 base damage. This is easily sufficient damage to kill a target in a gank.

You are right though, a jungler needs lots of presence to at least be able to scare people out of lane. I almost always get ROA on jungle , sometimes even in the teamfight phase, because it is an essential item on . However, If you are having a hard time early game, I would advise putting off the purchase of this item and instead going for a first. This will allow you to do plenty of damage in ganks, while still enabling some surviveablity incase the laner turns on you.

You're right to some degree. Yeah RoA limits his early game presence, however I find it essential to be effective late game. And as for the AS, runes/masteries mean that his has a low enough CD that he does not have time for auto attacks. Thanks for the suggestion though, ill look into some other options (:
