NERFED ARAMS?

This is my first time posting here so don't hate the noob but I noticed something earlier and wanted to ask y'all for help.

My friend and I were in champion select for ARAMS. She rolled, but I ended up ditching the match. When I came back, the timer was set to 30 minutes and she lost her roll. Was this a random slap on the hand from the LoL Gods or did they officially make this change? I couldn't find any info on it anywhere so I wanted to ask, figured someone here would know!

When you are en party, you reroll, and someone of your party dodge, yes, you are going to lose that reroll

The same happen when you use a dice and you dodge. But this not happens when you roll the dice, and someone not in party with you dodge, so, you will have you reroll...

Usually when I was in a party and I rolled, someone would ditch and I would still have my roll but now, apparently, that's not the case anymore?

If you reroll in a champion select of ARAM and someone leaves your matchmaking, you get your rerolls back. However, this does not apply when YOU are the one leaving, you will lose your reroll nevertheless. Riot probably counts premades that leave the same as an individual that leaves, so that people cannot abuse the system and can give their friends free rerolls.

About the 30 minute waiting penalty, it is a bit crazy indeed. However, you would have to leave a queue for the second time in order to have such long penalty. (1) The next time, try to make sure that you don't ditch your games after your friend rerolled, so that the guy doesn't get punished for your decision.

What's weird is - we didn't ditch any games and she lost her roll when *I* ditched. Normally only I would lose my roll when I ditched. And I only ditched that one game which is why I'm so surprised it was a 30 minute penalty!

If you reroll then someone dodges (anyone) then you still lose the reroll. just how it works

It's never been that way before. Usually when I roll, and I ditch, I lose the roll but if I roll and someone else ditches, I get the roll back... until last night that is.
