The FIBA Basketball World Cup is about to start in a little bit more than a day. Some time ago I asked in a blog post, whether the MOBAfire community would be interested in a thread about the event. I didn't notice much interest but people convinced me to make the thread anyways, cuz why not.

So...will team USA win the tournament once again? Will they perform as good as they used without some of their all-star players such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Paul George? What about the second best team in the world, Spain? Will they manage to win in front of their own fans in their country? What do you think of France, without Tony Parker?

What is your opinion on other always competeting international powerhouses such as Lithuania, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Slovenia and Argentina?

I'm going to be honest, I don't think anyone is going to watch this, maybe like 150 people throughout the world, tops

I kind of expected that. But just to know in european countries where there is a thing for basketball such as Serbia, Croatia, Greece etc. there is quite a lot of excitement.

Obligatory post about how my country won despite the fact I had no idea it was happening.
