Music taste/ why listening to music in general?

It's hard to say what su subdivide and what not to subdivide. You can tell me about all the genres you think are missing and even though the list is still a mess then we can slowly collect the genres the pople listen to here ...[/quote]

Also I find it odd that Asian pop is separated out when Asian rock is not, but that's not important and you don't need to fix that. You can probably make Rap/Hip-hop and Indie/Alternative single categories unless someone wants to argue you shouldn't. To those who argue with that I say listen to Armin Van Buuren and Skrillex, who are both under "dance", and produce blatantly different sounding music. the idea of just using the genres from that list is probably good though, yes.[/quote]
