Blitzcrank Introduction
Pros:
* Great Support
* Good CC
* Life-saving Passive
* Synergizes well with almost any team
Cons:
* Not easy to master
* Item dependent
This Blitzcrank build is great for protecting your carries, initiating team fights, and overall supporting and dishing out damage.
Flash is an absolute must have on Blitzcrank. Flash gets you out of those ugly positions and helps you relocate yourself to deal some dangerous CC It is an overall great escape mechanism. It can be used offensively as well, but Flash is always better to be used for defensive/escape purposes.
This is where the unique factor plays in, Clairvoyance. Why Clairvoyance? Because your the support of the team aka the backbone. If your playing Blitzcrank, their is a 4 out of 5 chance you guys are going to/should invade their jungle. Clairvoyance is a must have summoner spell on any team. It's a short cooldown summoner spell that lets you have free vision to check Baron, Dragon, potential enemy ganks, etc.
You should grab Teleport if you already have a primary support champion (Sona, Janna, Soraka, Taric, etc.) on your team and still feel that Blitzcrank should be a part of your team composition.
DO NOT USE THIS SUMMONER SPELL ON BLITZ. I will admit I use to run Clarity on Blitzcrank but it is not necessary. I don't care what your excuse is for picking up Clarity, but this is one way you can separate the newbies from the decent-professional players. Having Clarity signifies that you cannot maintain your mana, and I'm not just talking about Blitzcrank; to every champion in general. If you are using a mana hungry champion (Kassadin, Anivia, Etc.) your jungler/team should be getting you the second-fourth spawned Blue Buff.
