Well first of all, I can't see your sig.
You might want to get that fixed.
EDIT: Now that you fixed it, it looks good if not simple. I'm not a major image person though. You're gonna have to get other people to C&C.

Text has always been one of my problems as I focus on the graphics and sometimes just don't include the text... Exceptions being when the sig is all text(banners/logos).
A majority of the work I put into my sigs is in the rendering... I always do my own renders, which can take a decent amount of time when you have to deal with a lot of particles...
Thanks for all the CC so far...

This and anything I say are my opinions (in no way facts), that are continually evolving as time goes on,

Might just be my personal opinion, and I can't tell how you should apply this, but I think some contrast would help a lot. It looks slightly dull. Some more lively colours along with the contrast difference should make it a whole lot more interesting to look at.

You don't have a clear focus. It's just a bunch of stuff putt together without creativity.
I always say to starting photoshoppers:
START SIMPLE
with simple i mean:
- Render
- Background
- Some text
You can use some effects with brush/lighting/gradient but don't start with multiple c4d's in a signature. First learn the basic, then go further.
