AverageJoesGaming.com Announces

As the date of our first official 2v2 tournament nears, we're excited to present to you the first round brackets! remember that the matches are single elimination, and all team captains are required to save their replays and take screen shots of the victory or loss screens of the final stats screen.

Why do we want replays? Because we are going to keep archives of our tournaments, so if people ask well how did the last one go we will have videos for them to watch! Live streaming will be taking place during some matches to allow people to see how averagejoesgaming.com do their work and how serious we take our tournaments!

We will need the following information to keep things running smoothly! Sign-ups will be open till April 24th.

I will need a team name, both teammates in-game names, e-mail me this and you will receive a e-mail confirming you that you got a position in the tournament!

Rules

First off, we would like to emphasize our picking and banning orders. Like any other tournament we will be doing this in draft mode so picks will be 1-2-1. This means the higher rated team receives first pick, while the lower rated team receives first ban.

Picks will be manual exclusive draft.
Team with highest team captain rating gets Second ban and First Pick.
Bans go in the order of 1-2-1.
Picks go in the order of 1-1-1-1

By participating in this tournament, all teams are agreeing to ensure that each member has a stable internet connection, and proper facilities for an average LoL game. In the event of a DC mid game, your team may surrender or continue playing. There will be no "remakes or do-overs.Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½ If a team defaults, the opposing team will be declared the winner, and will move on to the next round. It is a requirement for all team captains to post in their organizational topic to report their picks and bans. All captains are required to save their match replays and send them to Soajaisou of AvJ.

Time and Place

The tournament will begin on Friday April 29th at 12:00 PM eastern time. This means that each team will have to be in contact with the team they are facing at this time, and will then have fifteen minutes to set up a lobby and begin banning and picking.

It should be noted that this will be a full day event and will take up the full day of April 30th, captains please communicate this with your team so they can be accommodate your schedules accordingly.
