Creator: OTGBionicArm July 29, 2012 11:39am
Will AP Cho be more reliable with the upcoming patch?

The only way cho was lately played at competetive was from hotshotgg as AS-Tank. And I think that is the only really competetive way to play cho, his damage as AP is just way to unreliable.

He's gonna be more reliable jungler as far as I am concerned. His place as an AP carry wasn't viable not because of bugs but because champions with high cc potential and sustain are more effective when built as offtanks with sustained dps or at least his kit does.

Think The Overmyynd's signature speaks more about this than I ever could.

Seriously, tho, I can see AP Cho'Gath being used a lot more as an AP carry. His biggest bugbear was how hard it was to hit his main damage tool, Rupture, but now that they fixed that, a skilled player should be able to reliably land this a lot of times, meaning tons of damage, meaning AP Cho'Gath getting fed in more ways than one. Speaking of that, Feast range buff ftw.

Did I help you? Do you feel nice today? Take a look at my guide,I would really appreciate it.

Due to the question that was asked, the answer is clearly yes.

However, it will remain a large question as to whether or not it will be good. Unless the ratios are improved, I find it hard to imagine that it will be better than AS/On hit tank Cho.
