I've seen it being done often in LCS recently. Why do they do it? Corki doesn't benefit from Blade of the Ruined King's stats that much does he?

Other adc's certainly benefit more but sometimes it's a great pick if enemy has strong front line like double bruiser Renekton or Shyvana with Nocturne.

They got it instead of IE; trinity force only gives little crit chance which means IE is less effective. Bork deals more damage in most builds with a TF and also gives utility allowing you to stay alive more easily.
