So me and a friend were arguing about whether or not Evasion was worth it. I say it's garbage, he says that it's not that bad. So:

Can anyone give me a legitimately good reason to take Evasion ? I am honestly wondering what Riot was thinking, I don't like all of the new masteries, but this is the only one that makes me go:

"The f*ck were they smoking when they made this?"

You could argue that due to it being flat reduction it's ok, but I would disagree since you'd have to stack heaps of MR or armor for this to make any difference compared to say a Null-Magic Mantle or Cloth Armor.

So, agree or disagree that it isn't worth it?

It's really bad.

AoE skills are not the biggest threat to tanks.

Even Honor Guard is better than evasion.
