Well, I'm going to have to pull the ping card here. 200 ping is a .2 second delay. You can't see it, but you can feel it. This is coming from a US player that has played on EU before.
Anyways, moving on, I will commend that EU did play well also. CLG needs some work, and it's obvious. They're great Solo Queue players, but need improvement when it comes to teamwork and team strategy.
If CLG proceeds to Dreamhack, Dreamhack will truly decide it all eh? No lag, equal equipment, the only difference is the teams and the players that occupy them.

I know, EU has to play on US servers like 1/3rd of the matches we have due to there not being enough EU servers or something...
The lag really isn't that big of a difference, when it comes to last hitting you can just adapt, and there really wasn't any gamebreaking moments where someone couldn't heal someone fast enough as Soraka or something. CLG made some bad decisions (like not throwing everything at Zealol when he got walled in by Bigfatjiji (who's a beast of a player) when they really should've done (for example, Rammus didn't taunt him), especially considering how well he was doing).
There was also the second game, where they tried to tower dive Zealol, and he stunned Nunu and almost double killed without dying himself.
It made the tiniest amount of difference, and really - LLL were an unknown team who came from nowhere really - to beat the "best in the world" so easily can't be decided by a small amount of ping.

call me a noob because I haven't followed the competitive season for a while, but what exactly has happened?
all I'm really getting from this is that last second changes to rules and seedings made it so CLG were put against a team they were not prepared to play against at the time, and as a result lost their spot in dreamhack, and although riot defend they did the right thing, all competitive teams save TSM feel that the decisions were completely unfair
but i feel there is a much larger side to this story I can't really see
so if anyone could fill me in, cheers <3

nono, i get that part about the seeding and team matchups (infact, i basically said what that post said in terms of why CLG wanted that seed)
but there's more to it, i just can't figure it out (and i don't particuarly want to read all of posts on the official forums, on my iPod, takes too damn long)
