3. Dianna has a shield and an AA steroid. Bottomline, Talon shouldn't jump on Dianna because Dianna will simply pull Talon to her and smother him with her luminous orbs (o doom). While easily landing her Q and chasing his punk *** back to tower (or he'll flash like the little girly man HE, Talon, is).

Why go Talon mid when you can go Pantheon? At least he can influence other lanes, has a nice stun to set up ganks and can build durability without losing viability.
And Talon DOES suck, his skill set alone leaves him underpowered. I get this sickening feeling that people think I'm talking outta my *** when I say stuff, it's funny though because I'm actually not.
The issues with Talon lie with his cool downs/general squishy nature/inability to maintain long duration fights/vulnerability of laning, poor scaling, etc. etc.
To build Talon you must essentially build Glass Cannon, but even with minor resists you'll still die in the AoE of a fight without ever actually doing anything.
Last time I saw Talon in Tournament was like ~5 months or more and it was Shushei playing him, and HE LOST his lane HORRIBLY.
There are much better options for the mid lane if you want a "counter-pick", the only counter Talon provides is the counter to his team's potential to actually win a game.
