Just asking a typical noob question...what does the "metagame" mean? I know it's a generic term that means the basic op champs, map setups (junglers, AD carries, AP carries, and tanks) but also which champs plays best as what (AP or AD). Not looking for any hating but if anyone could answer what it means and what the current metagame is currently would be a wonder. Thank you.

Uhh, you more or less explained it yourself. It's just the current way that the game is being played in terms of team setups and tactics.

Currently the meta is AD + Support bot lane, AP mid, Tanky dps (or sometimes another AP) top and a jungler.

Oh lol I wasn't to confident of what it really meant, my summoner level is growing and in my matches, the games have become a lot more, lets just say complicated. And I just wanted to be sure of what I am seeing, Thanks.
