Greetings Summoners!
My name is Carl Forgo, but I also go by shreddernooo (LOL), Pepsi.SKY (MOBAfire), or very_big_man (Twitch). I am 21 year old college student from Massachusetts studying history and psychology. In my free time, I enjoy endurance sports running, cycling, and in the winter nordic skiing. But I will admit that I probably put more time into League of Legends than I do any other activity, which is why I am making this account! I feel as though I have passed into the category of veteran/ experienced summoners, and im ready to start sharing my knowledge of the game with the world.
See you on the rift :)

In the "Builds & Guides" tab you get this opening:

You select champion first, set up season for "S6" to get updated guides and then click "apply". Then you can arrange the guides by clicking "top rated" to get the highest rated guides first.

Could you elaborate on what it is that confuses you about the current list(s) of available guides? Most of the regulars should be able to help you explain how it works, but feedback from a new user's perspective could of course still be useful in order to improve it :)
As a side note (in regards to outdated guides), all guide listings should show freshness indicators (on the right) and the date on which the guide was last edited.

I do have one suggestion to help make things a bit less confusing when searching for guides.
When you initially click to search for guides, two of the defaults in the 'GUIDE' section are 'Full Guide' and 'S4'. Would it be possible to make these two default to 'All' so that you are shown everything, and if the user chooses to narrow it down further, they can individually select the type of guide and season.
I think by automatically defaulting to the current specific settings (Full Guide, S4), some who are unfamiliar with Mobafire may believe that these are the only things available. At the very least, the 'Season' option should keep up with what season we are currently in. Many Season 4 guides are now obsolete.
Just my two cents. Thanks.

I have used MOBAfire guides while in Que to set up mastery pages, but sometimes I am lead to a guide which is outdated or just not precisely what I am looking for.
