Hey lads! So I'm picking a T3 champ again and ofc I need your help (I'm addicted to this community). So my eyes are on CASSIOPEA and XERATH. I'm looking a competitive champion for Ranked games. Which one would you recommend me to buy? Or maybe you got something else to offer?

+Rep for everyone that answers within 15 mins :D

Both are very strong picks at the moment if you can play them.

Cass gets banned more often though.

So which T3 champ?

Pretty sure I saw nothing but God Tier champs.

Cassi and Xerath are tier 3..?

Both are strong, I like Xerath for his long range and aoe stuns, builds tanky and nice dmg.
My name is Havok.
And yes, your mother loves me.

Check out my Katarina guide!
+rep me because I am awesome.

I guess just watch a bunch of pro gameplay for both of them and see which one fits you more. Xerath has massive range and great burst with his ult, Cass has a great lane and probably higher damage.

Both have skillshots and are fairly hard to play.

I'm guessing by the looks of it that your looking for some sort of AP mid. Out of the two you've mentioned they're both pretty contradicting in that Cassiopeia has a much higher skill-cap and takes a lot more practice to perfect while Xerath does have a "skill shot" his stun doesn't and his ultimate triggers it.

Both of them have high influence and utility in team-fights with their AoE damage, stun and nuking damage. Keeping with the theme I would recommend you to consider the following as well which I'll just briefly summarize: Brand, Galio, Ahri & Kennen. If your after someone a tad more tankier then Galio & Cassiopeia. Brand is like the harder version to play then Xerath but is still very rewarding. If you want someone with a lot of mobility then Ahri or Kennen. For an "anti-bruiser"/melee oriented champion then Swain would be renowned choice (others can do just as well against said champions).

High elo opinion is that Xerath is a very safe pick for lane.

Cass wins almost every lane and is in my opinion the superior pick due to her high, bursty sustained DPS output and her great ulti.

I like Cass, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I'd say go with Cass.

also, for some reason I read the title to this thread in the style of Rebecca Black's "Friday"
