I was appending a size parameter on the Gravatar URLs to force the dimensions to something that we can work with easier. However it seems that Gravatar recently broke their internal caching and it never updates the re-sized images, hence why you guys were unable to change your avatars. I removed the size parameter to get around their cache and now you are getting the latest avatar.
Let me know if your avatar appears oddly on any pages. Otherwise, everyone can go ahead and do the same to referesh their Gravatar, and you will only have to do it the once. Go to profile, choose a new avatar and save, switch back to Gravatar and save, and you should always get your latest avatar from then on.
