Some people(see: me) have had problems with becomming unverified some time after they became verified.

What's the cause of this?

If the Elophant service for your server goes down for an extended period of time it can happen. This was happening quite often a few weeks ago but should be fixed now. Try re-verifying if it doesn't say you're verified.

My account went from verified to unverified for some reason. I have changed nothing on my MOBAfire account to cause it, nor did I change my summoner name. What do you suggest for my account to become verified again, if it can?

It could be because the API was down (Riot API has been having some downtime lately) and when it checked your account it marked you as unranked. Check on the verify page and see if it still says your account status is: "VERIFIED" in green, or if it says unverified.
