I think the guides here are more confusing for new players. Many of them are geared towards playing a champ a specific way, not how the champ generally should be played.
So LoLpro or SoloMid are good options for beginners that just want a build, and are too new to get bogged down into building towards a specific purpose. Which would take more advanced knowledge of other champs on your team, and what roles they typically fill. Something a new player wouldn't know.
Mobafire is where you should come once you've mastered a basic understanding of many champions, and are on a lvl that you can try builds out and evaluate if you're gaining an advantage for the purpose you want to serve.
