I've been playing it, it is very fun and has a lot of potential (especially for a game in beta). It has a lot higher skillcap considering everything is a skillshot. Hirez has always had fun games to play, so I'm completely willin to give this game a shot in the Moba area (had a lot more fun playing this then Dota2 or HoN).

I HATE the camera angle :(

Game is horrible. The camera angle completely ruins my experience since you can't really see anything. I also do hope they fix the interface and overall animations.
In my eyes, it's just another bad MOBA with a new camera angle. Nothing more, nothing less and surely nothing special.

Does Smite break that pattern? The “surprise of PAX” seems to be getting thumbs up all around. It's a free-to-play online battleground between gods. Compared to other MOBA's, this feels more like a first-person experience rather than a top-down view. The graphics are impressive and game play feels fresh and exciting. What do you guys think? Are World of Warcraft and League of Legends impenetrable when it comes to being the leaders of their respective game styles? Is following in their shoes a sure way to success or is it better to step outside of the proverbial box and come up with something new?
