I have no math on this but maybe you can design high capacity coils for that effect, localy. otherwise i don't have the confidence to say the matterials in the core of titan are capable of a planet-wide magnetic field without a massive raise in kinectic energy (rotational speed). you can't ignite the atmosphere because you have no oxidant to my recolection. i'll get to some numbers in a moment... edit: oh, wait, year 3000? why not have metal-proteins build graphene based structures and check in once in a while? not to mention you can probably have a very well designed nuke to make a controlled chain reaction of the surface into a breathable atmosphere, but at a very nice angle such that titan gets enough aditional spin for it's new and awesome magnetic field? edit2: trying something on Europa or Ganimede would have been a bit easier, imo. and neither of the refered bodies are exoplanets.[/quote]
