Darkfire: Carved in Stone

I got some words down on paper, I just couldn't quite get it done. Far from done, actually. I had it in my mind, all of it. I just couldn't find the words. Thats when I asked Chaotic for help, as I often do. I sent him a draft of what I had, and prayed he would heed my call. He did. And he did it in such a marvelous way I find it a shame that his words given to me, should only go to Darkfire's closest members. This is why I now present to you, the speech as a whole. Not only the "cinematic" one, but the entire deal. [b]Thank you Chaotic, it truly meant a lot.[/b] So here you go, after almost two years, a lot of work and a lot of money, I officially give you the speech that dismissed the Darkfire clan:[/color][/center] [i]"Time and the changes that come with it. Good times and the bad. The ups and downs. We've been through a lot in the time we shared. But now chaos has shaken the foundations of Darkfire. Once united, we are now divided. Good friends became rivals. Companionship tainted with rage. And in the chaos, we lost many good friends. Our clan brothers & sisters took their leave, and it broke us down. Even though havoc was sewn through our ranks, we still met the call of duty. No team too good. No matter the odds. Our will set our enemies into an inferno of rage. Though things were disrupted in the clan, we pulled through it and found a solution. Failure was never an option. Darkfire was once a blazing beacon of greatness, but the fire is now nothing more than smoldering embers. Even though we survived many hard times, we stand here ready to go our separate ways. Divided as we are, the embers of Darkfire still burn. Our time together was great. A long run filled with laughs and at times; a few tears, I'm sure. Even though there were times that the chaos spread like wildfire, friendship kept us standing together. Friendship. It is the tie that binds us together. Those ties will never be severed. Those bridges will never burn. No matter where our paths take us, we will always have the bond of friendship. Darkfire will never be snuffed out. It's fire is like that of the Phoenix. It run it's course, but in time, from the embers, the Phoenix rises again. Only time will tell when we are set ablaze once more. As we stand here today around the embers, lets reminisce:[/i] - The smoke from the embers slowly rose. They formed a small cloud, and images of the past began to shimmer within. Images of epic saves. Hilarious fails. Smiles and laughter. The bright colors begin to darken. A small storm stirs within the cloud. Lightning flashes and a fire erupts. Amongst the fire; images of rage and pain. Tears and sadness. Mishaps and failure. After a short time, the images fade and the fire dies out. The smoke returns to the embers as Darkfire's Memories cascade over us. - [i]The things that we have achieved shouldn't be forgotten. The common goals we shared and strived for brought us together. Made us stronger. And now that we say good-bye, hold on to those memories. The achievements that brough such pride and respect amongst us. Darkfire, though embers at our feet, still burns inside each of us. Friendship, the ties that bind, should never be forgotten. Remember that your separate ways may leave us divided, but we are never alone. Remember Darkfire and what we have achieved. Never forget that Darkfire burns deep within us all. The time we shared, even though filled with chaos, has made us stronger. Take the time we had, and use it in your future. Through chaos and peace we stood strong.
