"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

Happens for me on chrome aswell. I didn't install any add-on.
Let's say for example I'm on reddit, after a while it automatically refreshes and I see the new threads showing up on the front page whereas I didn't even hit the F5 key.
It only works if I'm not on the actual tab after a while.

I basically never run into this, even when I have tabs that I've had open for several hours or days.
What I think could be going on here is that Firefox/Chrome is de-loading tabs (and reloading them later when you come back to them) in order to keep memory usage lower in cases where you've got a whole bunch of tabs open. I know Searz does this, do you as well, Yaya?

My posts may be long. If this bothers you, don't read them.

Might be an addon. Not sure.
It's probably Tab Mix Plus if it's an addon.

Actually, that's not it. I am and was down to 5 tabs when this happened. (I know right, bravo me *clap* *clap*)
And Chrome doesn't even have such a feature.
Also, I think it checks if the page has changed any since the last time you were there, because some pages don't reload at all (or just so fast I don't notice, not sure).
Okay, I've been trying to spot and re-create it lately.
I didn't succeed for like hours at first, but today after having left a tab alone for over an hour I finally noticed it again.
My initial guess of 5-10min was WAAAY off :3
My guess now is that it reloads it if you're away for an hour.

This has happened several times now, but not if I click on the page within 10 minutes(or so) of having been on it before.
It seems like a really cool feature. Does it happen for anybody else? Or is my computer just haunted?
(or is it some addon?)
