If you don't see me on LoL in the next week or so it's because my graphics card is faulty and continually crashes my computer if I use it (even simply starting up my computer will crash it if the drivers are installed). My 8800 GTS 640MB seems to have finally given out after a few years (I believe the card came out some time in 2006, though my I bought my computer in early 2007). If you have any recommendations for good graphics cards I would love to hear them. I've been looking at the GTX560Ti for quite a while as I was intending to upgrade my computer soon anyway.

MSI Twin Frozr II (not the III version if possible) either 560Ti or 570 will be a good choice.

If you want something similar AMD 6950 or 6970 (suggesting Asus DirectCu versions of those)

^What DEWO said.
I have the AMD HD 6950/70 and I am very, very happy with it.
You can also buy the 6950 and upgrade it to a 6970, because the 6950 is basically a disabled 6970.

I'm running a MSI N580GTX Lightning, and even though it's a bit pricey, it's well-worth the money (in my opinion).

way overpriced Scrax for the fps you get ingame.
570 is still the best as we speak of "endgame" cards that are managable for most ppl.
560 Ti is the best cost/effectivness in nVidia side :)

With a different power connector. A cheaper one that can't handle the same voltages.
It won't matter much unless you're overclocking like crazy tho.

If we look at this in a diferent way...

Guy is asking for help to pick a g-card. How good do you think he knows about electronics and OC and stuff?

For all those ppl i wouldnt recomend going Radeon. Even with new policy of AMD accualy trying with new gcards drivers and stuff... still nvidia is way more "user friendly" while Radeons can be realy good in right hands.

I've settled on getting the GTX560Ti because it usually gets around the same framerate as the HD6950 and is slightly cheaper.
