At the school staff meeting today I did my best to complete the assigned tasks and had a go explaining what I had done when called upon. I got an email an hour ago, thanking me for my participation and telling me that I had some valuable skills. I smiled the widest smile I have smiled in a while.
Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility, so I suppose it's perhaps the best day for me to officially tell MOBAFire that I am a transgender individual. This is a happy realization for me (hence I am posting it here) and what little I've been able to do to move forward with that has helped my mental health immensely. This probably makes very little difference in the scope of things, and some of you may already have suspected this fact, but there it is.
That's great! Good to know you (are starting to) feel better.
Being busy is a good excuse for me to not check my phone all the time. I miss the days I could do without owning a smartphone. It's been in my bag for half a day now and tomorrow I'm going to wake up with a "dumb" alarm, without messages buzzing in as soon as I open my eyes. Pure bliss, until I check in again at least.
