I have a penchant for syfi (You know, the borderline intentionally bad ones) and horror movies movies. I find the entire genres of horror, or monster movies to be largely hilarious (as they are intended to be "scary", which kind of drains any terror I may have felt if I didn't know the movie was intended to be frightening). Some personal favorites are Lake Placid, Bats, House of Wax and Jason X.
I like to make fun of the tropes in these movies, and I especially like watching them with people who are genuinely scared by them.

I liked the Amazing Spiderman, but apparently critics hate it.

Pretty sure it got better reviews than the Toby Mcguire spiderman. xD
It didn't, actually. The audiences liked the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies better, for the most part, but the critics disliked them.

Audiences often have better opinions than critics.
Edit: What I mean is that, critics can say whatever they want about a movie, but if the general population still likes it (For example, most critics hate Andam Sandler movies, but audiences love them) then their opinion or judgment is irrelevant.

This justifies the mean. ^-^
