Hence, 3-4 shot pistol. Sure you have strong shots but, it takes a while for them to go off. And they're not 100% reliable.

Funniest thing ever i experienced, ok not maybe funniest but still.
Fed ap yi does his combo at me, Alpha strike -> lichbance proc -> wujustyle for lichbane proc.
I have around 10% hp left as veigar. I run for about 1 secound, remember that ap yi now has no dmg, turn around, do my combo at him. Kills him...
As i said, if you survive his combo, he can't do **** to you for another 10secs... If he don't get a kill that is. So instead of running after uber nuke... Just kill the bastard...

Nah you guys are all doing it wrong, Alpha in (hits like 3 people) run away, wait a bit, Alpha in try ignite/lich bane someone (if you kill someone your CDs are reset) Alpha again, if you are in trouble just Meditate until Alpha is off cd. It works awesomely if you get a Veil or Zhonyas in there (so you can proc until your CDs are off again).
You basically just need some serious CDR (ionians, masteries, runes?) you can't expect to just alpha strike and one shot people, you need to be kiting and dashing around.

on the topic, quadra isnt something special, how many quadras did i get with Yi... i cant even remember. And look how you even response to that fact that you got a quadra on AP yi... it isnt something happening often isnt it? it needed to be screenshotted and posted here.
I never said that AP yi wont kill anyone. it is way way way better ways of playing Yi imho.

Nukes are generally like this...they blow their load and run screaming away....hence me taking flash when I play Yi...(I always play AP Yi...I'm terrible with AD champs)
