khazix is risky as fk but hes ok in soloqueue. problem is you need to go full squishy, tanky items still leave you squishy af as kha. also have weak cc in ganks so you need heavy cc laners who can set up ganks, or laners that have so much damage that you 2 combined just murder the sht out of people.
Instead of being a roaming Surface-To-Air Missile Launcher like he was when his W was overpowered, he is now a TRUE assassin. He has ridiculous mobility with his evolved E and his Q and evolved Q have had a severe buff in damage.
He has a better home in the top lane rather than mid, much like other assassins, such as Irelia. Max Q first and evolve it first, then max W and evolve E. Since he has such high base damages, focus on building armour, which helps against the tank tops. Rushing Tear is not very valid anymore considering the severe kick in the balls Riot gave to Tear and Manamune. Things like Black Cleaver and Last Whisper are good.
Now that he is a true assassin, you can focus on LITERALLY flying onto the enemy carry and executing them with your Q, which does ridiculous damage if they are isolated. Then you can either: jump to another target with your reset E, jump out and wait for another chance to get a kill, or get instantly focused by their team considering they are angry from you murdering their carry, which is fine considering you are an assassin and you have taken out your target (you can also buy a GA is they focus you instantly so your team and not worry about saving you and you can get back into the fight)
