History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

The devs had an armor called Hayabusa. They never really said anything about it, it was so incredibly hard to get (until 2 months after the game's release a hacker figured out how to get it and posted all over the place, making it almost common knowledge) that nobody really even knew it existed. I was late to the party and got the armor about 6 months after Halo 3 came out, and looked up Hayabusa. I got an image of Ryu (and motorcycles :D).
