Most people don't jungle 
Tryndamere. He has no CC, and his early ganks are pretty poor. He also doesn't have that great of waveclear so that's probably why you don't see people playing him in the jungle much. I think if you're going to jungle Tryndamere the only option would be Feral Flare. So yes, if you want to jungle trynd (which is fine in normals and stuff), pick up feral flare

Jungle Tryndamere has fallen off a lot lately, but if your going to run him Jungle Feral Flare is not a bad option just make sure you get a Static Shiv at some point and Tryn can still Jungle well

Isn't it better just to ignore Feral Flare and get something else as Shiv or just damage? B.F Sword and Build on that? Tryn can Jungle really well and he is actually quite tricky to counter in jungle now. Feral Flare Works but Trynda... yeah. :P Good luck man.

His clear time is pretty good, once you get your Fury up high enough, and as he's an AA-reliant champion Feral Flare does work quite nicely with him.

You're forgetting that Feral Flare (as with all the jungle items) will give you a lot of much-needed gold, as Trynda is pretty terrible at ganking in the current meta (as mentioned above), with no hard CC and only a short gap-closer with no ranged abilities. If you don't get it then you'll find yourself starved of gold come mid and late game, so you'll fall off massively. Feral Flare will not only counter that, it will add a hefty amount of on-hit damage to your AAs, and as that damage is Magic damage it's a lot harder to itemise against.
When you take into account how well Trynda scales off Attack Speed as well, I'd say it's pretty much the only viable jungle item for him to get.
