Banner of Command is great in one for all agaisnt magic damage

This item gives you 60 Armor and 30 Magic Resist, in-game.

If they're trying to get this as an offensive alternative to Locket of the Iron Solari for supports, they need to make it better than simply adding a Fiendish Codex. That's the item that they use for AP when they can't think of anything more creative. Supports, especially mage supports, have plenty of CDR options, they don't need more. To put this in more of an offensive direction, perhaps Aegis of the Legion + Haunting Guise? This gives HP, magic pen, and still some AP. Sure, it'd make it more expensive, but then it introduces an entirely new dynamic. You have to sacrifice the active shield for the damage.

Aegis of the Legion + Haunting Guise = 400 HP, 30 AP, 15 magic pen, 20 MR, and Legion aura. Maybe this is overkill, but I like the idea of having some meaningful components rather than just more wasted CDR.

Thoughts on the rework?

What about.. split push shen. with a teleport. and banner of command. Tell your team to group mid, promote top or bot, then when fight breaks out, teleport.

Nunu is great with it, i heard a Blood Boiled giantic cannon wins games these days.

So basically all the champions that have minions will benefit from this.

I use this on Yorik and really enjoy it. AP doesn't usually help Yorik a lot, but armour and cooldown does. As well, the aura works on all his ghouls, so with 3 ghouls active that is quite a bit of bonus damage.

Also, Promote can be deceptively useful. You get the gold for minions it kills, so if you are leaving a lane to help in a team fight, you can promote a seige and it makes you money while you do other things.

I think this item will only be useful, if you guys are split-pushing and if your team are grabbing two of these. You can promote two minions on top and bot lane, for example, while your team push mid. Also, Captain Enhancement is good.

Yes, it does! A niche item on Elise at best, not too good otherwise.
