To clear things up, only the people who have the item can have double auras, but it doesn't stack higher than two. Ex: Both a support and an off-tank have Aegis of the Legion. The support and the off-tank have double effect, but all nearby allied champions receive it only once. So stacking the aura for everyone on the team is a foolish tactic; to emphasize what I just said, do not stack auras as it only helps the people with the source item.
@Angus nope. It works exactly the same way as WOTA. If two people on your team have Aegis, then each person having Aegis will get the buff from their own Aegis and the other Aegis. Other members of the team will only have one instance of the buff.
yepp. If someone else gets it you'll (when carrying the first copy) also get an aura from the other Aegis (making you able to get two stacks of it even though the aura is unique).
Sorry brah but this is incorrect, If you have two aegis on your team it is a waste of gold as only one aura will effect at a time. The other aura will either just have no effect or you will get "diminishing returns", I am not sure how strict they are with that **** now. But, that is exactly why it says a unique passive...perfect example, a few posts up someone said this is a perfect item for shaco as his clone will also get it...yeah, they will both have the static effects of the item but they wont give each other a double aura...If different characters stacking the same aura effects worked trust me abyssal staffs and frozen hearts would be more abused than Tina Turner...Yes, if everyone wore one there would be a slight bonus because of the base stat boost...easy example: Say it gives the wearer +10 armor and the aura was another +10 armor...the person wearing it will receive +20 armor, everyone else +10...so if everyone was wearing one they would all get the base bonus of +10 armor plus the +10 of ONE of the auras equaling +20 armor not +60! (these were fake stats to make it simple because I am bad at explaining things) So in summary: Stacking auras is bad! If it says Unique passive it is a unique passive no matter who wears it, do not waste your gold!

i say nasus...he supports in a different, more unconventional way, but hes still a great support, as he stops escapes...if hes an aura support, which i dont suggest, then this would be a great item for it if your a tank.
