The Mageseeker: New League of Legends Game Feat. Sylas

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story features Sylas as a protagonist in a thrilling Action RPG story fighting the Mageseekers - anti mage organization - to take revenge from Demacia. Learn the known details for this upcoming title planned to release on Spring.

A few days ago Riot Forge made an announcement for three games coming this year. Two of these titles were already known, Convergence and A Song of Nunu, but they did not announce that the one coming sooner was a hidden title “The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story”.

A Pixel Art ARPG with Sylas as the frontrunner

The Mageseeker is a collaboration with Riot Forge (Indie Dev Studio from Riot) along with Digital Sun Games (Creators of Moonlighter) bringing the Action RPG genre to the Runeterra universe with Sylas as the main protagonist in this story.

“Play as Sylas, a spell-stealing mage who has just broken free of his unjust captivity at the Mageseekers’ hands. Wielding the chains that once bound you, you must liberate your homeland from tyranny, one Mageseeker at a time” From Mageseeker Official Page.

In this game you will play as Sylas from LoL, there's not many details on how the abilities or combat will work, but what is sure is that it is going to involve "spell-stealing" mechanics to stay true to the character's nature.

Two days ago Riot Forge revealed the official Gameplay Trailer, and there is a lot. Display of mechanics, Sneak peek of possible bosses: Garen and Jarvan IV, Map areas and more insight into the story referencing the Lux Comic. The new LoL Sylas game is looking amazing.

What you can expect from new Sylas Game

As expected of previous Riot Forge titles, the trend is that each new entry is an evolution from a previous title from the company that they are working with.

And taking Moon Lighter's success in their ARPG with rogue-lite elements, you can for sure expect a complex ARPG with level up systems, creative combat systems, exciting Boss Fights, great storylines and interesting puzzles.

Lore Sneak Peeks from Riot Forge

The secret messages "No Chains", "Free Sylas" and "Rise Up" sets up the plot for this game. A story for liberation, rebellion, Demacia and the Mageseekers, and all this led by Sylas? We will not know how this story will flesh out until is playable.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story minimum requirements

In Steam they just released the Minimum System requirements to play, and a good news is that almost every computer should be able to run this game with no problem, you don't need a high end machine whatsover. Still... to be sure you can check the list below.

When will you be able to play The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story?

There is still no specific date for the game's day of release, but the Sylas action RPG, as this video announced, is coming in Spring 2023. Update: The date of release was recently announced, the Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story will be launching on April 18, 2023.

This game is going to be available on PS4/PS5, Xbox series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and you can play it on PC from these platforms: Steam, Epic Game Store and Gog.com. As of right now the game is available for Pre-order in both the Regular edition and the Deluxe one.

Quick Update: Just a few moments ago, Riot forge released, in both Riot Merch Store and Riot Forge Official Youtube Channel, the Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story - Collector's Edition.
