[15.7] New TFT Revival: Uncharted Realms

Teamfight Tactics is bringing back one of its most beloved Sets with Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms, returning as the next Revival event from patch 15.7 through 15.9.

Dragons Return

A brand new Revival event is upon us, with Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms coming back from patch 15.7 till the end of 15.9. That’s a full month of Set 7 with updates to make the 2022 Set feel fresh and more fun than ever.

Before we get into what’s new, let’s take a look at what’s old. Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms consists of 14 Origin Traits and 15 Class Traits all themed around, you guessed it, dragons themselves. Dragons are a unique Trait in the set and make up the bulk of the Set’s mechanic.

Dragon Units are expensive, and take up two unit slots in your team, but provide +3 to their marked trait and gain additional bonuses based on how many Dragons are on your team. For example, Zippy is a Guild Dragon, providing a +1 to your Dragon Trait but a +3 to your GuildTrait. This means that with just one Emblem and one Zippy, you can acquire the Prismatic Guild Trait, which ordinarily requires you to have 8 Guild Units.

You can read more about the mechanics of Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms in League of Legend’s own gameplay article, or just take a quick look at the reference sheet below:

New Trait Augments

Astral: Projection

When an Astral unit dies, they leave behind a projection of themselves with reduced stats that casts immediately then rapidly loses Health.

Darkflight Resurrect

After a delay, revive your sacrificed unit during combat with increased max Health, Damage Amp and Attack Speed.

Relic of the Past

Scalescorn Rebel

Tired of having to spend two slots on a Dragon? Scalescorn Rebel lets you play a Dragon as a Scalescorn, losing its Dragon trait but gaining bonus Scalescorn effects.

Lightning Rod

Lightning Rod activates the Tempest lightning to alternate between striking a low health enemy and buffing a strong Tempest champion.

New Champion Augments

Idas Touch

Transform Idas, the four-cost Shimmerscale tank Dragon into a carry unit that deals more damage and provides your with more gold than ever.

Soul Eater

Another Shimmerscale Guardian Unit gaining a boost is the one-cost Nasus. With Soul Eater, Nasus gains stacks for each takedown, transforming into a terrifying carry as the game goes on.

Inner Caster

Vladimir, a one-cost Astral Mage, can become a backline carry as well with his own Hero Augment which makes him deal AoE damage on every fourth cast.

New Opening Encounters

All your favourites like Crab Rave and Trainer Golem await you in the new Dragonlands Carousel, but will be joined by a few newbies:

  • Treasurier Dragon: Everyone gains access to a Treasure Dragon with special offerings on 3-7

  • Dragon Herald: Everyone starts with a Dragon Unit of the same tier

  • Draconic Subscription: Everyone gains extra loot each stage, with Dragons hidden in some of the loot

New Prismatic Traits

In Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms, Prismatic Traits can be achieved in the classic way; by acquiring heaps of Emblems. There are four new Prismatic Traits: Tempest, Lagoon, Jade, and Shimmerscale.

Prismatic Tempest

Prismatic Tempest channels the power of lightning twice, hitting your enemies extra hard.

Prismatic Lagoon

Prismatic Lagoon drops loot orbs and gold on spell cast, raining down gifts for your team.

Prismatic Jade

Prismatic Jade breathes life into your Jade Statues, changing them to Jade Krugs that can move around and deal damage.

Prismatic Shimmerscale

Prismatic Shimmerscale turns all your Shimmerscale items become Radiant, increasing stats and granting extra gold.

Event Pass

Like all Revival Events, this one comes with its own little Event Pass so players can secure free and premium goodies. The Pass costs 975 RP and comes with 500 Treasure Tokens, 200 Realm Crystals, 100 Star Shards, and the exclusive Jade Baron Little Legend.
