''+3 Life on Hit'' statistic for the item Cull

I want to know what does it means when it says: +3 Life on Hit. Is it some kind of lifesteal or it gives you +3 of health on hit?? I'm a little bit confused about this statistic...??@!!?$

restores 3 life every time you hit someone with an autoattack. Unlike Lifesteal, it doesn't scale with your damage.

ok i see, thank you very much!! And I didnt know that Lifesteal is scaling with the damage..loll thanks for this info too.

As a side note, it synergies quite well with champions that benefit greatly from on hit effects. This is why you see the item frequently built in kog'maw (runaans further contributes to the items strength) and sometimes Lucian too (although not as a starting item)

Just to add some info, Cull will typically give you more hp back than Doran's Blade in the early game. You would have to have 100 ad to get 3 hp back. However, Doran's Blade does give some nice starting stats, like the extra HP
