League of Legends (LoL) Question: Counters Against Yasuo?

    Counters Against Yasuo?

I am a Lux main and obviously she's not the best against him, farming is difficult because Yasuo's tends to always be aggressive. The only time I win lane against a Yas is when they're simply a horrible Yas. I don't ban Yasuo because I always ban Zed. (I rather ban a Zed than a Yas any day). I was thinking maybe playing Diana against Yas if it ever happens? I just have to really practice her first. Also, is there a website where I can find counters for any champion? I was trying to look for some but no luck for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have lots of experience standing with Yasuo and playing him(main) so I can tell you that u should try this:
    1. Annie(so much fcking burst he will die when u get 6) 100%
    2. Pantheon(much cancer ez lane) 100%
    3. Malzahar.(sometimes works, but I don't find him as a counter coz I can dominate him)
    4. Zed(quite annoying when Zed is good)
    5. Garen(if u use ur Q timingly and dodge his Q when u Eing him - kill, remember to take ingnite)
    6. Anivia(pretty annoying)
    7. Xerath(if u can hit him with ur abilities - ez, love this champ)
    8. Mordekaiser(lots of dmg and sustain with shields)
    9. Ekko(skill matchup)
    10. Gangplank(in good hands ofc, e.g. I can do it)
Diana can't counter good Yasuo. He can dominate her pre-6 and kite her very well.
    Good luck bro!;)
P.S. If u need detailed info u can ask me)

If you are maining a ranged champion against Yasuo, you should focus on poking him as much as possible.

With Lux for example, you have superior range. You have a great way of poking him through your E. Remember that his wall has a pretty high cooldown. Of course, this will work less against a very good Yasuo as they can use their E as effectively as their W to avoid getting hit by spells. Poking him little by little after building some mana sustain (Lost Chapter) or with a blue buff will eventually force him out of lane. You can ask your jungler for help as well.

Now, when picking a great Yasuo counter, you should think about what works most effectively against him. A good reason why Yasuo is easy to play against top-lane is because most tanks will build Frozen Heart/Randuin's Omen against him, which severely lowers his DPS. Yasuo is weak to poke and he relies on his mobility to stay alive and deal damage, that being said, stuns or other forms of hard CC are also extremely effective against him. This is yet another reason why he's not as powerful when played top-lane, where he has to deal with champions like Jax, Shen or Nasus (Nasus has no hard CC but he builds tanky without losing damage. His W also hurts Yasuo's mobility and attack speed, the key points of playing Yasuo.)

A good example of a mid-lane bully that also has hard CC is Malzahar. Le Blanc is also effective, because even though he can stop your Q and E with his wall, your cooldowns are much shorter and you have your W to get close to him, deal damage, and get away. Azir is also very effective against Yasuo, as he can poke him from a range during laning phase and then shove him away with his ulti. Swain is also very effective, as he often fights very close to the enemy, and all his abilities apart from his ultimate are not countered by Yasuo's wall. But like I said, Swain always fights up close, meaning you can just move through the wall and keep on dealing damage.

Malzahar is decent pick against Yasuo in Mid (he can't block your spells with his wall)
Also Jax is pretty good, but i don't think you should play it on mid.
Always remember that fighting Yasuo without creeps is much easier, he can't dash that much, and you have to take adventage of your ranged-autos to destroy his passive.
If you want a page with counters you have lolcounter. com, it also give some tips in certain matchups.
I can't really give more help because i don't play mid that much
I hope it helps a little

Akali is absolutely dreadful to lane against after 6 since she basically gains free reign over the lane unless you died early to him.

Try to proc his passive shield with an aa and then harass him as he isn't so op without his shield also try to get exhaust as it is a natural spell against assasin

The biggest counter to Yasuo is the pick ban system lmao. I personally see him banned more often than not, so just ban him out i guess? Zed is a problem, but i see zed picked way less often than yas, so hes not worth as much of a ban as yas is.

    hope this helps

Malzahar is the most obvious counter against Yasuo, just ult him and let your team get a kill. Also as an anivia main I find that if you wait until 6 to fight him you are pretty safe, as you can just ult where he's standing or the minion wave and get free damage or push the wave safely. Pre six you should be all good if you stay near tower because of your passive egg.
