WTF Happened to Draven?

Ok so I just played for fun. I've played him after his passive change and he still felt alright, but this time something was off. It seems like his axes do not drop as far when you lead them, resulting in my running past them a million times. I remember they used to go a lot father back when you back pedaled after using them. It also seems like the distance to pick them up has been decreased. I was standing half way in the circles and it didn't allow me to grab them, and I distinctly remember being able to do this previously.

I can find no documented changes to his Q mechanics lately. He's pretty much unplayable if they did something recently to change his Q. Anyone know what's going on?

Axes have been like this since he was released. They increased his axe flight distance briefly a long time ago, but community outrage made them change it back. If you happened to have learned during that time period... oops!

No changes whatsoever, I still play him.

I played him since the beginning. o.O When they made that change and changed it back, it didnt make much of a difference to me. It's only recently it feels different.
